Tokai’s NCC or neutral colour coating is a special coating that dims the vision field by equally cutting out all of the visible light waves. By doing so, there is less change of colours compared to ordinary sunglasses. Taking advantage of this technology, NCC lenses do not alter colours and make vision more natural, comfortable and closer to real life. This is the same technology used for natural density filters in cameras.

With the Neutral Color Coating, the colors of the scenery can be seen more naturally and more comfortably by reducing the amount of light equally throughout all light waves seen.

NCC Black is a category 2 solid tinted lens with 25% luminous transmittance, while NCC Light is a category 1 solid tinted lens with 80% luminous transmittance.

Due to the darkness of the tint, NCC Black is not suitable for driving at night.
